There was an excellent turnout for the Ol’ Tyme Family Nite’s Christmas party held at the McLennan Elks Hall on Friday November 23.

The hall was suitably decorated for the event, with Christmas trees, lights, and Christmas ornaments, along with a full turkey supper with a wide variety of desserts and baked goods.

The Ol’ Tyme Family Nite Band lineup for the Christmas Party was Dwaine Isert, Nellie Montpellier, Gerry and Marie Dubois, Phil Dube and relatively recent member, bass player Shaun Strom.

The band played from their extensive repertoire keeping the floor busy with most in attendance getting up to dance for each set.

Ol’ Tyme Family Nite will celebrate its twelfth year as a very popular social and entertainment venue where people of all ages are welcome to attend to dance and socialize.

FCSS Community Development Coordinator, Jean Moore-Lemoine who established the twice-monthly event twelve years ago and who has remained instrumental in its ongoing success was also present to welcome every one at the annual Ol’ Tyme Family Christmas Party.
