On Friday, September 16, Christie’s Greenhouse was the perfect backdrop for a high-energy fashion show featuring head to toe styles from Rural Fashion Girl in High Prairie. 235 spectators enjoyed watching the models depict the modern woman wearing comfortable and stylish clothes from everyday wear to a night out on the town. As the models made their way down the elegant runway, which until a few days before held dirt and the leftover remnants of Christies growing season, viewers could call the models over to ask about the clothes and to feel the material of each item. Popular labels were showcased, including local designer, Derek Jagodzinsky-LUXX, and are all available at RFG from sizes 0 to 3X. A special highlight of the evening was a motivational speech given by model and actress, Linsay Willier, wearing a Pink Martini polka dot skirt and top from RFG. Kristen Prpich and Lisa Baroldi of RFG and Christie Pollack of Christies’ Greenhouse were proud to produce and sponsor the event to raise $1000 for the High Prairie Children’s Spray Park. Baroldi expressed that “the event exceeded our expectations. The venue, the models, the clothes, the attendees – they were all fantastic. What a night! We look forward to next year and to raising money for another cause.”
