The Public Works Department for the M.D. of Smoky River No. 130 continues work to replace two bridges on Township Road 772.

One is located on Range Road 212 and the other is on Range Road 213. One will be completed by the end of October and the second will be finished in March 2019.

Kevin Cymbaluk, the director of operations for the M.D., discussed this as part of his report to council during their meeting on October 10.

He also noted that the survey work for the Old High Prairie Bridge should be completed by the end of December. It is located near Triangle Corner, on the M.D.’s side of the border with Big Lakes County.

In other news, work on the lift stations for Guy and Jean Cote should be completed by the end of December. Public Works is focusing on the concrete now.
