The Bank of Montreal Branch in Falher has announced the winners of its 18th annual fundraiser for the Smoky River Palliative Care Society. Sylvie Blanchard is the winner of an Illuminated Moose and Norma Bolster is the winner of a Motion Laser Lights unit. This year, the BMO branch in Falher raised $2,200 for the society. During October and November, donations were collected and for every $2 donation, the person’s name was entered into the draw for the two prizes. One-hundred percent of the donated collected are donated directly to the Smoky River Palliative Care Society. To date, the local BMO branch has raised $37,590.25 and they chose the Smoky River Palliative Care Society as their charity, as this non-profit organization benefits everyone in the communities.
