Tools for School
Although it is summer, parents have to start think abut getting their children ready for school.
This can cause stress and anxiety for families that are struggling to make ends meet. Smoky River FCSS has access to the United Way Northwest Regions ‘Tools for School’ program.
What this program does is provide all the schools supplies for the up coming year for low income families. This is at no cost to the families to apply!
What we require is the child’s first name, their grade and what school they will be attending, as well as contact information so that we can get these back packs to you when they are ready.
Last year we had one family apply for this incredible program, and they were happy wit what was supplied to them.
If you know of anyone who is need of this service please have them contact the Smoky River FCSS office at (780) 837-2220 and ask for Crystal, before August 6.
