Smoky River Family and Community Support Services are celebrating a milestone in 2017, the 50th anniversary of their existence.

They held a celebration at the Club Alouette in Falher on Oct. 20, with past employees also attending.

A silent auction was held as part of the event, and duo singers of The Great Plains performed following dinner.

Look for a story about the event in the Nov. 1 edition of the Express. Also, look for several videos of the event on the Express’ Facebook page.
