McLennan RCMP is investigating the death of eight-week-old baby

At 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 8, the McLennan RCMP Detachment received a call about an unresponsive female infant at a residence in Falher.

They attended the scene and she was sent to hospital, but she was pronounced deceased.

Meanwhile, the RCMP continues its investigation.

“It’s an open investigation,” says Cpl. Chris Warren. “We are exploring all avenues of investigation,” and added that no other details could be provided at press time.
