PIC – Cow moose shot

Peace River Fish and Wildlife are asking for assistance from members, and/or the public, in solving a crime. On Friday night, Oct. 18, 2019, a cow moose was shot and left to waste, northeast of the Town of Peace River, on Range Road 201, approximately two miles south of Secondary Highway 986. The incident occurred after dark, on privately owned land and within close proximity to occupied residences. Fish and Wildlife Officers are currently investigating the incident and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals involved.
