It is with great sadness for the family of Thérèse Lavoie to announce, she passed away in McLennan on October 22, 2017 at the age of 93.
A long-time resident of Girouxville, Thérèse Lavoie was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on March 15, 1924.
Thérèse Lavoie was predeceased by her husband, Philippe Lavoie, in 1997; and son-in-law Richard Rey in 1992. She is survived by Juliette Laflamme (Raymond), Rene Lavoie (Brenda), Louise Logue (Fred) and Joyce Rey.
Funeral services for the late Thérèse Lavoie were held at the Notre Dames de Lourdes Parish in Girouxville, with Reverend Maurice Marion officiating.
Interment followed at the Notre Dames de Lourdes Cemetery in Girouxville.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Chapel of Memories Funeral Homes. Donations can be made to the Manoir du Lac in McLennan, Alberta.
