On July 9, 2018 at approximately 5:20 a.m., High Prairie RCMP conducted a traffic stop on 53rd Avenue in High Prairie resulting in the seizure of several varieties of drugs.
The investigation led to an adult female and one adult male being arrested at scene.
Incidental to the arrest, a search of the vehicle was conducted where amounts of Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), Ketamine, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), and Cannabis Marihuana were seized. This included approximately 10 grams of Methamphetamine and approximately seven grams of Crack Cocaine.
As a result of the investigation, Trina-Lynn L’HIRONDELLE, age 29, of Falher, Alberta and 30-year-old Michael MONTEITH of Edmonton, Alberta are facing charges under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs & Substances Act.
Their first court appearance is on Monday, August 27, 2018, 9:30 a.m. at the High Prairie Provincial Courthouse.
As this matter is now before the courts no further information will be provided.
