Grande Prairie RCMP Investigate Mischief to a Downtown Building

On October 10, 2017 Grande Prairie responded to a mischief complaint to a downtown building in the early morning hours.

The suspect was seen spray painting a small portion of the building. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in this incident.

Graffiti is a serious crime that impacts all members of a community. The Crime Prevention Unit with the City of Grande Prairie has a graffiti management program and encourages the public to anonymously report graffiti by calling 780-830-7080. The City operates this hotline to make it easy for people to report vandalism in our community.

If you have any information, which you believe may assist police in their investigation, please call the Grande Prairie RCMP at (780) 830-5700.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1.800.222.8477 (TIPS), by Internet at www.tipsubmit.com, or by SMS (check your local Crimes Stoppers, www.crimestoppers.ab.ca, for instructions).  You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers and if you provide information to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest(s), the recovery of stolen property, and/or a seizure of illicit drugs, you may be eligible for a cash reward.
