On January 8, 2019, Grande Prairie RCMP executed a search warrant on an apartment on the west side of the city after receiving information from the public about a possible drug house. RCMP searched the apartment and located approximately $600,000 worth of illegal drugs. Canadian currency and firearms were also located during the search. The following items were seized as a result of the investigation;
. Approximately 4 kilograms of Crystal Methamphetamine
. Approximately 2.2 kilograms of Cocaine
. Approximately 200 grams of heroine
. Approximately 5,500 Oxycodone tablets
. Approximately 950 Fentanyl tablets
. $93,880.00 in Canadian currency
. Two handguns

Valleyview RCMP charge three with possession for purpose of trafficking

Valleyview RCMP want to advise the public that during the late evening of December 1, 2018, a traffic stop was conducted in the area of Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. Upon further investigation, cocaine, methamphetamine, digital scales, and packaging materials were seized. The following people were arrested and charged and are wanted on outstanding arrest warrants:
Damien Kappo, 27:
. Possession for the purpose of trafficking x 2
. Fail to comply with a recognizance
. Fail to comply with an undertaking x 2
Veyda Horseman, 19:
. Possession for the purpose of trafficking x 2
. Impersonation to avoid arrest
. Fail to comply with a recognizance
. Obstruct peace officer
. Trespass on premises
And Alannah Standingribbon, 28:
. Possession for the purpose of trafficking x 2
. Fail to comply with a recognizance x 2
