Grande Prairie RCMP have charged one male in relation to a firearms incident on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
At approximately 7:30 AM police attended the parking lot of the Silver Crest Lodge in response to a report of a male with a firearm. Tyler Ness, 28, of Grande Prairie is facing 11 Criminal Code charges including:
. Careless use of a firearm.
. Discharge firearm while being reckless
. Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
. Possession of a prohibited firearm.
. Unauthorized possession of a firearm.
. Uttering threats (x2)
. Possession of property obtained by crime.
. Mischief under $5,000 (x2).
. Resist police officer.
Ness appeared in court in Grande Prairie earlier today (May 14).
