Children and families will have another activity to participate in as part of the SARDA Trade Show.
Farm Safety Day will be held at the Centre Chevaliers, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 18.
Safety stations will be a key feature of the event, including brain injury demonstrations, along with ATCO Electric and Smoky River Fire and Rescue. Others will be announced later.
“It’s very important for children and families to make themselves aware of safety hazards and how to avoid them,” says Gary Braithwaite, one of the organizers for the Smoky River Agricultural Society.
Other activities will include bouncy castles and face painting, and some safety mascots will make an appearance. Entertainer Norma McKnight will be there too.
Volunteers are required to help with the event. Call Braithwaite at (780) 837-6467 for more information.
