Judy Pigeon is excited to launch her new catering service and bakery, ‘All About the Bee’ Bakery and Bistro at the Centre Chevaliers in Falher next Monday.

“I’m gearing it to seniors, but the public is welcome to sample our cuisine, too.”

Trudy works with menu plans and provides freshly made meals that can be frozen and then reheated for serving. You can pick up your order at the Centre Chevalier, but delivery will be available.

One of her items will be Shepherd’s Pie for two to four people. Customers will have choices five entrees for a week, which will include your choices of side dishes and dessert.

Her baked goods will include cheese cake, cream puffs, pies and cakes. Honey is a key ingredient in her recipes, taking the place of sugar.

Trudy sources many of her ingredients locally and she has one staff member working for her.

Trudy is a Red Seal Chef and completed her training at Camosun College in Victoria, B.C.

She was the food services supervisor for an independent seniors home in Victoria for five years.
