Ali’s legal troubles keep building

Notorious Nampa resident Mukhtar Ali is back in custody.

Ali is infamous for a dramatic arrest on the Peace River bridge and his past tangles with the law.

Due to recent investigations, Ali has been charged with multiple new offences, including failing to comply with conditions of release, being in possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, being in possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, being in possession of a firearm while prohibited from possessing it, and being in possession of a firearm without being the holder of a license under which he may possess it.

Ali’s next court date is scheduled for May 4 when he will answer to the latest charges. He remains in custody.
