People nearing the end of their life will be able to rest in comfort thanks to a generous donation from Canadian Natural.

Canadian Natural donated $25,000 to the Peace Palliative Care Society [PPCS] to purchase a top of the line Umano Medical Bed for the Peace River Community Health Centre.

The society serves and advocates for those who have a terminal or life-limiting condition.

Xrandi Campbell, PPCS president, says the new bed will offer pressure reduction and safety. The bed can also be expanded so a dying person’s loved ones can cuddle in the bed with them, bringing them comfort.

The bed will be ordered in the coming weeks. PPCS is looking forward to its arrival and circulation on the unit.

Campbell says PPCS extends heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Canadian Natural for their generous donation to the organization.
