“Spring Fling,” took place at the McLennan Elks Hall on May 5.
The market fundraiser, organized by Marilynne Brulotte had approximately thirty tables booked but a few vendors who had registered were unable to participate on the day of the event.
Vendors who participated offered a diverse assortment of merchandise including Tupperware, crafts, candles, scents, cosmetics, teas, cooking accessories along with a variety of novel and original home-based and homemade items.
A chicken or beef wrap lunch was also available, prepared and served by Ecole Providence staff.
Spring Fling market, also offered a $2 a ticket with a chance to win an elaborate gift basket valued at $500.
All vendors who took part in the Spring Fling event donated an item to the gift basket.
All proceeds from renting tables and the gift basket draw, which came to $1,224, was donated to the Ecole Providence Breakfast Program.
“We really appreciate the hard work and commitment Marilynne put in to organizing the Spring Fling event and the valuable financial contribution she makes to the school’s breakfast program,” says Providence Principal, Kirsta Veitch.
